Another investigation into allegations of sexual harassment at the Oklahoma Capitol has been confirmed by authorities. 

Representative Karen Gaddis is taking office today.  Gaddis was sworn in to serve House District 75 which represents parts of Tulsa and Broken Arrow.  

With three special elections underway on Tuesday, Oklahomans are paying for the second, third and fourth time to fill seats left empty by Republican lawmakers, with more than a half dozen more elections on the way.  In all, seven seats were vacated this year. 

Tulsa area voters will decide Tuesday who replaces State Representative Dan Kirby for his District 75 seat. Kirby resigned earlier this year following sexual harassment complaints.  

Republican State Senator Bryce Marlatt (R-Woodward) will be stripped from his committee leadership positions after accusations he made unwanted advances toward an Uber driver in June.

Republican Tressa Nunley and Democrat Karen Gaddis advance to a special election in July to fill a seat left vacant by the resignation of state representative Dan Kirby of Tulsa. 

Veteran State Senator Kyle Loveless (R-El Reno) resigned Thursday amid an ethics investigation, making him the third Republican to resign in 2017. 

Fear of retaliation, explicit texts, requests for topless pictures are all allegations made this year against Oklahoma lawmakers. But one aid says problems go even deeper.

“Maybe into my second week when I was kind of pulled aside, ‘don't be alone with this member, don't be alone with that member. 

The filing period for those seeking to fill the empty Oklahoma House seat of Tulsa Rep. Dan Kirby begins Monday.  

Embattled Tulsa Rep. Dan Kirby (R) will resign, according to the Speaker of the House's office Saturday. 

In its findings released on Thursday, the Oklahoma House of Representatives Rules Committee, investigating claims of sexual harassment and a legal settlement, called for a change in how its body’s leader handled large transactions.
